More or less directed towards the shammy types still in the guild...

Any thoughts on the changes coming your way?

Granted I've been out of the loop for about a year now, but some of them seem promising. Thoughts? Gripes?

I'd link all of the patch notes, but there are a metric shit ton of them. so you can just go here and read them yourselves

The totem bar sounds great. I just wish the they would add some buff icons to mana tide, for once.

The changes to resto sound great, especially suck-ass Healing Way. IMP water shield proccing off of CH and not consuming an orb kill too.

As far as the "nerf" to enhancement goes with Shamanistic Rage, I think it's better that is less mana back more often. When I raided as enhancement in BC, one or two swings and I was topped off on mana. This way, you can just constantly keep a decent mana supply, rather than have a huge spike every two minutes.

But that's just me. :P

I will save judgment on the totem bar when/if we see it. It sounds nice in theory, but I've seen blizz FUBAR stuff in the past. As for the Shamanistic Rage, as an enhancement shaman, I'm glad they are making the change. One to Two swings and I'm full. Not to mention, if things are really bad, I still have water shield in a pinch. So I think less mana more often (seems to be a trend with this patch...see Innervate for Druids) is a better thing.

I'm looking forward to it. that means i can change specs every three minutes and then only waste 2/3 of the innervate instead of all but the first 4 seconds.

Because you didn't read the fine print that said (and I paraphrase here) except for Marinda; she shall be nerfed to .001%

Actually, no...it went from .25% every second to 1% over FIVE seconds. Right now it ticks for 40+ for me...on the test server, with t9 gear and more mana I was getting around 26 a tick. :(

Any clue as to when this patch will come out? I'm considering coming back once it hits the live realms.

Congrats on the new comp, but no I haven't been on the PTR, as my subscription is still expired. I still haven't decided if I'm coming back to WoW.

have you tried? often times you can log on to the PTR from an inactive acct.

I can verify this is true, but you usually have to have had an active account within the last 30 days, so if you cancelled awhile back, you won't be able to. But yes, I played on the PTR for Zul'Aman back in the day when my account was inactive.
