Raid Policies & Raid Attendance
Rather than call ourselves a raiding guild, we prefer to call ourselves a guild that raids. This means that we don’t have the strict guidelines of most “hardcore” guilds. However, raiding is an entirely different aspect of the game that has more disciplined expectations & standards which need to be observed.

CV’s raiders are the spearhead of the guild into the new content. Guildies will look to us for inspiration to push forward in their playing and the guild's advancement. We have no room for numerous and repetitive mistakes. To obtain the core raider rank, a raider is required to attend 75% of our raids, measured in one month increments. Only members in good standing will be allowed to raid. Members who are not in good standing will be contacted by an officer regarding the reasons their raid standing has been suspended & for how long it will be suspended.

Officer Assigned Loot Distribution

Raid loot from 25 mans will be Officer assigned with an emphasis on even distribution across the raid, using the following the guidelines:

***Loot will generally be distributed in this order: Member Mains, Member Alts, Initiate Members. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the officers. ***

1.) Main Tanks (MT) will have first choice as they are the ones trying to keep the bad guys from killing everyone else. If there is more than one MT on a run, it will be gear based. If the MTs do not need, the Off Tanks (OT) will be next in line for consideration.

2.) Healing Gear will similarly be passed out to the Main Healers (MH) on the run based upon their gear and attendance. Healing gear is loosely defined as gear showing a preference to mana regen rather than gear that shows a preference to spell crit.

3.) Member Attendance: Members with > 75% attendance will be considered first for loot. If they pass, members with < 75% attendance will be considered based on equipped gear.

4.) Members may only be awarded 1 Epic quality item in a raid unless it will be sharded. If an instance where an item will be sharded occurs, the decision will be made based on attendance and current gear.

**This does not apply to trade skill patterns. All max level applicable trade crafters will /roll for the pattern based on their online availability. A crafted pattern is no use to us if we don't have frequent access to it. If the pattern is a BoE, it will be offered first to the crafters in the raid before being available to all guild members of equal availability and skill level. If there are no max level crafters, or they have the pattern already, the pattern will be /rolled by all applicable crafters.**

Loot: Non-Raid Guild Runs

Green BoE – Roll Greed, if this is an upgrade for you just send a /tell to the winner and they will happily hand it over.

Green BoP – Pass, we will discuss need and random if necessary. If no one has a need for said item we will random for shard. If there is no Enchanter present we will random for the item as vendor trash.

Blue BoE – Pass, we will discuss need and random if necessary. If no one is in need of the item we will greed for it. Items should be offered to the guild for a reasonable price before the item is AH’d. Blue items are also excellent bank donations.

Blue BoP – Pass, we will discuss need and random if necessary. If no one has a need for said item we will random for shard. If there is no Enchanter present we will random for the item as vendor trash.

Purple BoE - Pass, we will discuss need and random if necessary. If no one is in need of the item we will greed for it. The winner must offer the item to guild mates at a price less then Market Value. If there are no takers, good luck we hope you make some big cash.

Purple BoP - Pass, we will discuss need and random if necessary. If no one has a need for said item we will random for shard. If there is no Enchanter present we will random for the item as vendor trash (This scenario is very unlikely).

Recipes/Formulas/Plans/Schematics
All recipes should be distributed to the highest level crafter. If this applies to more than one person, a /roll is performed and the recipe goes to the highest roller.
